That started me thinking. Brown dogs have brown whiskers - Dax has dark brown and Robbie light brown:

But when dogs age, in our experience, their whiskers stay the same - Golly's whiskers are black:

The weirdest thing I've seen is a black and white dog with black and white whiskers on both sides. We accused the owner of dyeing them since that seems impossible.
