Roger Caras said "Dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole." He was wrong. When you live with four, obedience train two, agility train two and co-own a dog boutique:(GollyGear); dogs are your life. And life is good.

Ice Prints
Our weather has been strange lately - snow, rain, sun, snow. The sequence was perfect for producing perfect puppy ice pawprints. Which we think are absolutely adorable - if somewhat slippery.
That's a photo for framing (I seem to say that a lot here lately!).
We had a crust of ice over our snow at the end of last week, made for tough going out there. Carmen was light enough to walk on top, everyone else had to "break through" the top layer with each step!
Hope and Fran are sisters and owners of GollyGear. Fran now has one dog: Tango, a 2-year-old Brussels Griffon who got off to a bit of a rough start, but is rapidly becoming an amazingly wonderful companion. Hope has Dax, a seven-year old French Bulldog with Novice Agility and Novice Agility Jumper titles; Teddy a year-old fawn Frenchie with attitude and a Novice Jumpers title; and Roc, a nine-year-old Brussels Griffon, who decided to retire with Novice titles in Obedience and Rally and now proudly practises his couch-potato prowess.
Hope and Fran are the owners of Golly Gear, an online and bricks-and-mortar shop specializing in products for small dogs, named for Fran's Brussels Griffon, Golly - who was a discriminating judge of all things dog throughout her life. Fran blogs in purple. Hope blogs in green.
