Memorial Day was really, really hot. Little black dogs aren't very good at hot, but we couldn't possibly miss our friends' annual Small Dog Party. (Thank you, Frank and Pearl!) We had a wonderful time. Pearl truly outdid herself - above and beyond the call - she grilled wonderful food all afternoon, in the 90+ degree heat! Fran made sure Golly (aka The Princess) stayed cool, although you can almost see the thought balloon: "The indignity of it all! Off with her head!"
