Roger Caras said "Dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole." He was wrong. When you live with four, obedience train two, agility train two and co-own a dog boutique:(GollyGear); dogs are your life. And life is good.
You betcha - that's my girl! Thank you. Paint Shop Pro and a few minutes and voila! Dax is a classic! I admit I'm a biased, but it helps when you start with a gorgeous subject!
What a great picture!! Love the cedar mulch too. We use it everywhere in our garden (no grass) and love the scent. It also is helpful with repelling nasty bugs like fleas! My Ceilidh loves to roll and scratch her back too!
She is, in fact, named for the DS9 character - good catch! Only true fans appreciate her registered name: Gargoyles What A Trill. Stop groaning - we like it.
And thank you, Jan! It's easy to take a good picture when you have a great model!
Hope and Fran are sisters and owners of GollyGear. Fran has two dogs; Ceilidh, an eight-year-old Boston Terrier with ADD, and Golly, a 13-year old Brussels Griffon and the titular head of the sisters' (hopefully) thriving empire. Hope has Dax, a four-year old French Bulldog known for her sweetness and Roc, a seven-year-old Brussels Griffon, who decided to retire with Novice titles in Obedience and Rally and now proudly practises his couch-potato prowess.

WOW! She is beautiful!?!?!
Just out of curiousity, is she named Dax because of DS9?
Terrific picture. She looks like the matriarch of a long line of great dogs.
