Visit from friends!

Our friend Michelle and her wonderful Frenchies Brutus & Carmen (yes! of Brutus the Frenchie fame) came to visit last week. We all played together at an agility trial and enjoyed a good game of bitey-face when we got home!

Carmen is the gorgeous brindle girl, Ted's the fawn, Brutus is dapper in his Fleur de Lis collar.

Ceilidh Day!

It's been a really long time since Ceilidh had a day at the shop. So, since she'd been seeming stressed at home, I brought her in today. Ceilidh is having a restful day.

The non-skid Pause that refreshes!

We finished putting the rubberized skin on the Pause Table today and Tango was nice enough to give it a test run. He tells us we did a pretty good job!

Lull in the action

Many of our agility friends are in Louisville this weekend for one of the biggest shows in the Midwest. Hope is going to a big trial next week with a friend who's coming in from Ohio for it (go Team Frenchies!!! - hi, Michelle!), so we're breathing a little bit now. While I might want to race into action, we have to wait for it. It's a little tough for me - I'm one of those people who likes to get stuff done in the morning so that I can relax later. Of course, "later" hardly ever comes and I'm doing other stuff all day! On that note, we created a rubber skin for the pause table we built last week (hopefully we'll be able to adhere it to the table later today or tomorrow). And there's always dusting...

Tango helps!

Three days a week, Tango comes with me to work. He's a big help in picking and packing orders for our customer pups! - Fran

It's who you know....

We heard that the Chicago Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup are going to the White House next week. One of the phenomenal things about being "into" dogs is the wonderful people you get to know. We're lucky enough to know a "dog person" affiliated with the Hawks. And we got to meet the Cup last year! - Hope

Let Sleeping Dogs ...

Last night was Agility Class, and there was much running and jumping (dogs, mostly - people just ran!). Although it was late, we just kind of vegged out and watched TV for a bit to wind down when we got home. I guess there was more running and jumping than usual, because the dogs were totally sacked out! Teddy was even snoring! Tango doesn't usually nod off until after lunch, but he's already napping this morning! We've got to work on that stamina.
