Roger Caras said "Dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole." He was wrong. When you live with four, obedience train two, agility train two and co-own a dog boutique:(GollyGear); dogs are your life. And life is good.

The flip side
This is Ceilidh. Ceilidh has two speeds: full and off.
This is off. Enjoy it. Few have seen it in person.
I have a Ceilidh of my own - Penelope. We call her ADD Dog, because she never sits still, until she collapses from exhaustion. She's not fussy about it, either - she drops wherever she is, in mid sniffsnortexplore...
Oh what a cute little face - she is smiling in her sleep! I want to tickle that little tummy too! She must be dreaming of her efforts in Agility class last Thursday!

ReplyDeleteHow very sweet and vulnerable. I'd say she has lost any wild animal instincts.
ReplyDeleteCarol - I don't think I wanted to know that ADD dogs exist in Frenchies - I thought they were immune! Oh well...
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty - that tummy doesn't go un-tickled for long. Just about long enough to get the picture taken.
She's a very sweet girl. Especially when she's sleeping. But even in her most manic moments, she never is anything but playful.
